Abstract

This chapter discusses the development and implementation of a training programme to host Social Dreaming events. It also discusses the development of the programme, the role and function of a 'host', the learning experience, and some practice development ideas for people who host a Social Dreaming Matrix. The Social Dreaming community realized that people may have detailed expertise in related fields yet may possess no 'training' in hosting a Matrix. The aim of the training programme was specifically to learn about the role of hosting a Social Dreaming Matrix and thus consolidate theory and practice of Social Dreaming. The design was for people who had experienced Social Dreaming and who wished to learn how to host matrices and develop the 'flow' of new people who might wish to do so in the future. The board authorized a small design group to develop the work.
