Abstract
Since the inception of Brock University's nursing program in 2001 the Nursing Department and the local health system have developed a collaborative relationship. In planning for implementation of a new interprofessional model of care the coordinators from the health system approached the Nursing Department about using simulation as a method for developing and disseminating interprofessional core competencies.
