Abstract

This article presents an outline of the research work carried out on the formation in the Higher Courses of Technology (CST) in relation to the search for graduation from the perspective of students entering the CST/Gastronomy of a private college in the city of São Paulo. This text aims to identify the motivations for entering the CST in emerging contexts and to answer the question about the needs of the learner for professional qualification. The research methodology adopted was qualitative in nature and investigative in the narrative mode. As a result, the discussion of learning is established from the student point of view, respecting the human formation of individuals in the search for an education that constitutes a socially inclusive process.
