Abstract

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been high on the agenda of the hospitality and tourism industry. Despite the emphasis on firms’ CSR activities, it is not clear how companies implement CSR initiatives throughout their core business models and how they show the practical impact and positive changes to their stakeholders. In addition, teaching and learning materials for industry practitioners and the next generation are very scarce. From the case study on Hilton Worldwide, this case study explores ongoing CSR efforts and provides a direction for future changes in hospitality industries’ CSR endeavours.
