Abstract

The first presentation 'Never a Monday morning feeling' was presented by Donald Cameron of Strathclyde Police Forensic Support. This light-hearted talk gave us food for thought and he quoted 'you never become rich as a scientist but you will become enriched by the experience'. He informed us that it is possible to do a very important job in a serious professional manner, whilst at the same time enjoy oneself and occasionally have a good laugh. He felt it is vital to have good communication between police and scientists. He gave a couple of case examples and also spoke on the communication links and the overall experience of the Lockerbie disaster.
