Introduction

In this project we set out to investigate attributes that might be associated with successful student outcomes at a Nigerian university This constitutes one part of an action research endeavor to assist Jonathan Odukoya. Jonathan Odukoya, PhD, obtained his doctoral degree in Psychometrics from the Department of Guidance and Counseling, University of Ibadan in 1991. He lectured briefly in the Department of Psychology, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, before joining the Research Division of the West African Examinations Council [WAEC] in Lagos and subsequently in Accra, Ghana where he served for 11 years. Odukoya is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Covenant University He is the National Coordinator of the Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa [ERNWACA] in Nigeria. He is the lead researcher and psychometrician for this study
