AbstractPeel, a British educational psychologist, comments on the impact of Piaget's thinking on the English educational system in this paper. Speculations are offered concerning the implications of Piaget's theory for learning in history and geography. Peel concludes that the basic ideas in Piaget's approach render a helpful account of learning and thinking.
