Abstract
We present results for transverse flow, the balance energy, and elliptic flow for Ar+Sc, 58Fe+58Fe, 58Ni+58Ni, Kr+Nb, and Au+Au. We find that a soft equation of state is required to explain these results. We find that a momentum dependent formulation of the nuclear mean field is required. A 30% density dependent reduction of the in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross sections in BUU is required to reproduce the observed balance energies for light systems.
