Abstract
In this article, the author examines whether the England football manager has shown a leadership style which defies conventional stereotypes and exemplifies an approach from which today's business leaders can learn some useful lessons. Swedish leadership is about consensus, harmony, a dislike of conflict; and whether running a business or coaching a soccer team, it seems to work.
