Abstract
The problem field in which this article is oriented is delimited, on the one hand, from digitalization in education as necessity and benefit, and on the other hand, leadership as a role and function. At the intersection between them, the main research question is brought out – to what extent the relationship between leadership and digitalization has been stated, sought and research in the Bulgarian educational policy and in research. The thesis which is defended is about the need to create competency models of leadership in different context.
