Abstract

Abstract The core purpose of the article is to discuss the Polish business leadership style in a wider perspective. It includes a broad literature review that describes management styles in Poland and draws some comparisons to other countries. The essay contains a discussion on ethics in education, business, and political leadership and their connection to social trust, social capital, and managerial practices. The author argues that a positive change in business ethics and in leadership styles may be inspired by transnational exchanges of practices and from improvements in the Polish education system.
