Abstract
This book is a timely text indeed, as these elements of management are of paramount significance in the current primary care setting. Primary care in the UK is rapidly evolving. Ever changing targets and shifting goal posts have led to an increase of workload and resulting pressure levels not previously experienced by staff in this area. Efficient teamwork between medical, nursing and clerical staff is central to providing a good service to clients in the community, and good leadership is key to developing and maintaining strong teams.
