Abstract

Human actions invoke the user-centered framework of technology. We present a novel approach to understanding systems behavior that comprises human interaction within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems space. We use the theories of Reasoned Action and Planned Behavior (TPB) to examine how and to what extent Lead Users utilize specific patterns to influence implementation outcomes. Using a mixed methods approach for our inquiry and an analysis based on a structural equation model (SEM), our initial findings extend the study on Lead User Adaptation.
