Abstract

AbstractMetal corrosion causes huge economic losses every year and metal anticorrosion is of great significance in economic development. It will be meaningful to convert the mechanical energy in ambient world into electricity energy for the metal anticorrosion. Here, an eco‐friendly self‐powered anticorrosion system is constructed to prevent metal from corrosion and a facile effective approach is demonstrated to enhance the output performance of triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG). The lead‐free KNbO3 nanoblocks are doped into the PVC triboelectric layer to greatly boost the output performance of TENG. The output voltage and short circuit current of TENG are increased by 2.5 times and 4.3 times using this doping process. The optimal output voltage and short circuit current reach 208 V and 24 μA. Due to this high output performance, the TENG can be a power supply for impressing current cathodic protection, forming an effective self‐powered anticorrosion system.
