Abstract

An earlier work describing the preparation of a soldered electrical contact to a silicon surface using a metal hydride flux has been extended to allow for the preparation of many such contacts, on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, with a single heating. A collodion film is used to keep the molten solder in intimate contact with the hydride and silicon during the heating process.
