Abstract

In this paper, I refer to the unpublished manuscripts of the lectures on Logic. Foundation of Theoretical Philosophy by the neo-Kantian philosopher Heinrich Rickert. These lectures were attended by Martin Heidegger in 1913 when he was a student at the University of Freiburg. I show that they form a great source of informations about the complex Heidegger-Rickert relationship. I here provide a reconstruction of several points which are relevant to gain a more promising understanding of Heidegger's philosophical development (the genesis of the distinction between Vorhandenheit and Zuhandenheit, the view of philosophy as an autonomous science of sense, the disjunction between axiological and hermeneutical theory of sense or meaning, etc.).
