Abstract

Pierre Péroz : Le mot clé. Variations sémantiques et régularité des fonctionnements Taking the example of the French word « clé », the author argues that such a word is neither concrete nor abstract, massive or countable in itself, and should not be analysed through a reference to an object of the world. The function of a name is to allow, through its different uses, various types of embodiment of a notion, which remains in itself inaccessible. The author accounts for the variation of the word within the framework of a theory of the construction of occurrences of a notion.
