Abstract

The Lavours marsh, a major wetland for dipteran fauna. -The dipteran fauna of the marais de Lavours was studied over a period of four years. A variety of trapping methods was used in areas representing the major habitat-types. Over 1 300 species of fly are documented as occurring in the reserve. Remarks on selected species are given.
