Abstract
Summary The Author describcs in Gonostoma denudatum the respiratory supplementary lamina, which are not carried by the gills, but by the lateral-ventral sides of the tongue-trunk. He describes also the vascularization of the same lamina by means of afferent and efferent laminar arteries, which are collected respectively to the afferent and efferent arteries of the gills.
