Abstract. - We propose to study the Strait of Dover as a "terraqué" transborder area and not as a separated border or a crossing zone. After having justified this research position, we particularly analyse transborder cooperation documents between Kent and Nord-Pas-de-Calais because they are creating new spatial networks.
