Abstract
Romeo Castellucci's company, "Societas Raffaello Sanzio", proposes radical creations playing with the limits of what the sensibility can bear. In Orestea especially, Romeo Castellucci created affective and direct relation between subject and object, subverting the system of symbolization and representation which differentiated them (the object is indeed received and interpreted before being felt). Through this affective relation (created by the organic of the voice (pre-linguistic) and a pure presence (pre-symbolic)), the body is able to convey the Essence of tragedy, first and originale.
