Abstract

In the present paper are taken into consideration the published testimonials concerning coarse and cooking wares characterized by stamped patterns (generally associated with comb streaks). Following new dating have been considered typical early medieval pottery. Their finding in many inland settlements make such artifacts possible guide-fossils to reconstruct the rural landscape of Sardinia during the Early Middle Ages.
