Abstract
is a perl script that plots light curves for variable stars using data from the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO, aavso.org). is written in Perl. Besides Perl and the modules DateTime, Astro::Time, and LWP::Simple, also needs gnuplot (gnuplot.info). is developed and tested in Linux, but should work fine in other platforms if the dependencies are met. LCplot version 1.0 is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3 or later. Copies of the The GNU General Public License (GPL) and the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) are distributed along with the sources. Refer to the file LGPLv3.TXT.
