Abstract

Abstract—Two girls, both virgins and aged 14 and 12, respectively, who had previously been healthy, consulted their physicians because of painful acute genital ulcers that appeared in the context of a febrile process. Complementary examinations ruled out both venereal disease and the other usual causes of genital ulcerations. In both cases, the lesions resolved in less than 2 weeks after the administration of oral and topical antibiotic therapy, with no sequelae or later recurrences.
