Abstract

The purpose of the research work is to model behavior control through spatial organization for developing a method of salutogenic architecture design. At this stage of research, we use an interpretive method to summarize interdisciplinary knowledge about the influence of spatial organization on human behavior and the psychophysiology of space perception in the context of behavioral choice in order to identify spatial configurations that promote salutogenic behavior. The main conclusions of the research work are presented as generalized principles of architectural environment development that promote increased motor activity. The results of the study open further research venues for the development of the above-mentioned design method.
