Abstract

The Fe–Cu layers were produced by the Impulse Plasma Deposition method in two impulse plasma coaxial accelerators. Each of them was equipped with an internal electrode made of Fe or Cu, which functioned as the source of the alloying components of the layer material. This study shows the relation between the phase structure and the magnetoresistance values. A small value of magnetoresistance was measured in layers directly after deposition process. The magnitude of the effect increased after the 1 h annealing in 600 K.
