Abstract

The increase in international trade and investment in recent years has brought a corresponding increase in related legal problems and this substantial work by a leading authority sets out to provide guidance in a very intricate and confusing area of law. The author is an American practitioner and formerly Senior Legal Adviser to the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes. His standpoint and interests are clearly reflected in the contents of this book.
