Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of Lauromacrogol in the treatment of postoperative Ⅳ seroma or residual cyst after Transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair (TAPP). Methods A total of 10 patients who had been diagnosed with unilateral or bilateral inguinal hernia after operation were selected. After the liquid was extracted, a suitable amount of Lauromacrogol Injection was injected. And indwelling the capsule or the operation area, Pressure in the operation area. The treatment was reexamined after 1, 3, 6, and 12 months, respectively. No recurrence was found, The clinical effect is remarkable. Avoid recurrent aspiration and cause infection. Conclusion The effect of Lauromacrogol on postoperative Ⅳ seroma or residual cyst after inguinal hernia surgery is good. Less adverse reactions, High security, The characteristics of low recurrence rate, It is an effective method for treating postoperative seroma or residual cyst after inguinal hernia surgery.
