Laudato si : l’encyclique du Pape François sur la sauvegarde de la maison commune

Abstract

Laudato si : The Pope Francis’ encyclical on care for our common home. In the encyclical “ Laudato si” (“ Praise be to you”), the pope “ proposes specially to engage in dialogue with everyone about our common home”. His sources are various and rich. There are firstly predecessors’ interventions since 60’ s. But the Pope Francis’ encyclical is the first which is completely dedicate to ecology, defined as an integral human ecology, in the three relations constituent of each human : relationship to each other, to the earth and God. The principle of common good is inseparable of ecology. It’s an invitation to a transparent and automatic dialogue as well as an invitation to a widespread ecological conversion. We can note important elements for the current negotiations about the Climate Change Conference in Paris.
