Abstract
In this letter, we first briefly review Hamiltonian and Newtonian method for solving lattice vibration. Second, the equivalence between phonons and Klein-Gordon particles is proven. Finally, we use the new method to analyse some simple models and compute their phonon spectrum as well as Berry curvature.
