Abstract

The specific heat of amorphous and crystallized In(+ Sb) films has been measured in the low-temperature range from 0.6 K to 5 K. In the amorphous phase the lattice specific heat is enhanced by a factor of 3.5, but no indication of a term linear in temperature is found. The results are compared with calculations of the lattice specific heat fromα 2 F(ω) spectra obtained from electron tunneling measurements.
