Abstract
As recently shown by Chamizo the upper bound for the “lattice rest” of a compact convex body in three dimensions with smooth boundary and nonzero curvature can be improved considerably by specializing general convex bodies into bodies of revolution. In this note we can demonstrate that the lower bound for the “lattice rest” of a body of revolution turns out better than for a general convex body as well.
