Abstract

Detailed calculations are presented for the phonon dispersion curves and two-phonon Raman spectra of cesium fluoride. The model applied for the purpose is the extended three-body force shell model which takes account of three-body and second-neighbour interactions. Theoretical predictions and experimental data are in almost exact agreement.
