Abstract
In the staggered fermion formulation of lattice QCD baryon operators are constructed which transform irreducibly under the rest frame symmetry group. The spectral decomposition of time-time correlation functions of these operators is derived and the group theoretical connection is given between lattice and continuum baryon states.
