Abstract

Research Article| May 01 2022 Latitude D. M. Aderibigbe D. M. Aderibigbe D. M. Aderibigbe is from Lagos, Nigeria. His debut book of poems, How the End First Showed (2018), won the Brittingham Prize in Poetry and a Florida Book Award, and it was the finalist for the Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poets. He has received fellowships from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, James Merrill House, OMI/Ledig House, Ucross, Jentel, and Boston University, where he earned an MFA in creative writing. His poems have appeared in The Nation, Callaloo, jubilat, and New American Writing, among other publications. He is currently a PhD student in English at Florida State University.
