Abstract

In order to analyze the problem of the training of Latin American economists in United States universities, we may start by asking the following question: Has there been until now an appropriate relationship between the size of the resources dedicated to this and the benefits obtained, in terms of the professional maturity of those trained, of their consequent contribution in their own countries, and of the various aims taken into account in the United States as part of this collaboration ?
