Abstract
“I love early mornings. Spending time with my thoughts, fresh ideas, checking my emails, and coffee, but I have to go to bed at 8:30 pm. I mean, who sleeps at that time?” Clinician-scientist Latika Gupta has recently moved to the UK from Lucknow in India where she was an Assistant Professor of rheumatology and clinical immunology at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences. Taking a position as a rheumatologist at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust and becoming a myositis fellow at University of Manchester, Gupta has uprooted to devise a training module for assessment of patients with myositis while setting up a regional myositis service in England's West Midlands.
