Abstract

This paper reports on the use of lateralized tachistoscopic recognition accuracy and recognition latency measuring procedures for studying functional asymmetries of the cerebral hemispheres. Specific results bearing on the nature and number of relative specializations of hemispheric function are presented, as well as results bearing on the question of cerebral dominance and serial memory in dyslexia.
