• To illustrate the use of classification systems to define the indications for selective fusion and fusion area in adult scoliosis. • To describe the indications for aggressive sagittal correction methods in adult scoliosis. • To describe lateral surgery-based methods for aggressive correction of sagittal imbalance. • To illustrate the use of classification methods for selection of the fusion area in sagittal imbalance.
