Abstract

Review of epidemiologic studies of radiation effects in man reveals that they have been based primarily on exposure to the atomic bomb, radiotherapy or diagnostic radiations as well as occupational or accidental exposures. It is important to preserve and make the fullest possible use of data from study samples already defined, and, in conceiving new sources of information, to make the most of opportunities for rapid linkage of health and employment records.
