Abstract

The potential for stricture formation in the recovery phase of necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) is well recognised. We report a case of late stricture formation presenting acutely as intestinal obstruction 6 months after recovery from the acute NEC episode. Continued follow-up of NEC patients is essential to avoid missing late complications.
