Abstract

Counseling for fetal pyelectasis in the late 2nd trimester is usually based only upon assessing the AP renal pelvis width. We hypothesized that checking additional sonographic features common in obstruction or vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) (ie, increased renal length, hydronephrosis, duplication, and enlarged bladder) would better predict postnatal outcome.
