Abstract

Attempts to test the hypothesis that Clinical Pastoral Education is an effective means of training people for ministry by surveying former CPE students using a questionnaire. Concludes from statistical analyses of results that the particular program surveyed produced lasting effects. A critical response in which limitations of the survey are noted, particularly in which limitations of the survey are noted, particularly in the area of methodology, is offered by an outside professional.
