Abstract

Lasiosphaeria dactylina sp. nov. grows on culms of different grasses. Its characteristics are perithecia with very long hairs, a small subiculum, an areolate peridium in surface view, one to four-celled, hyaline, yellowish or brownish ascospores with an attenuate lower part and a pointed base, and the presence of an anamorph with blastic-annellidic conidiogenesis.
