Abstract

Soluble bis(trihexylsiloxy)silicon naphthalocyanine(SiNc) having an absorption band in the region of laserdiode emission wavelength(780nm) was used as photoinitiator for radical polymerization. Photopolymer films composed of SiNc, accelerator, acrylic monomer, and acrylic binder polymer were exposed to laserdiode light (780nm). 3, 3′, 4, 4′-Tetrakis(t-butylperoxycarbonyl)benzophenone BTTB, 2, 4, 6-tris(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine(TCT), or N-(p-chlorophenyl)-N-methyl-glycine(PG) was effective as an accelerator. Photosensitivities varied significantly depending on the kinds of accelerators. A SiNc-TCT photoinitiator system was found to show a photosensitivity of 30.1J/cm2(20μm thickness).
