Abstract

Laser therapy of gynecologic neoplasia is relatively new and there is minimal experience with vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia. Fifteen unselected patients with vaginal intraepithelial neoplasla were treated primarily with the carbon dioxide laser. The average follow-up is 15 months. At this time there have been two failures and two patients are currently being treated. Eleven patients treated with the laser have no evidence of disease. are discussed.
