Abstract

Selective laser structuring of flexible thin films in inverted polymers solar cells is investigated. Laser ablation of an Indium Tin Oxide-nanodispersed Zincoxide (ITO/ZnO) multilayer coated on flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate is performed. Further laser scribing of ITO on PET is investigated as reference. A femtosecond laser source with a pulse duration of 120fs and 800nm wavelength is used. The influence of different parameters, such as pulse energy and overlapping rate on the quality of the scribing process and the film removal mechanism are discussed. Further the laser removal threshold fluence for both scribing configurations is experimentally determined and compared.Selective laser structuring of flexible thin films in inverted polymers solar cells is investigated.
