Abstract
The photolysis by laser radiation (488 nm) of Kr, Xe, O 2 and UF 5 dissolved in liquid fluorine affords KrF 2, XeF 2, O 4F 2 or O 2F 2, and UF 6, respectively. No reaction product was observed on laser photolysis of liquid fluorine with Ar, N 2, IF 5, RuF 5 or OsF 6.
