Abstract

A study is made of the influence of the line width of laser radiation interacting resonantly with a two-level atom on the normalized second-order correlation function of a fluorescence signal depending on whether phase or amplitude fluctuations are responsible for partial noncoherent of laser radiation. The change in the correlation function caused by the action of weak or strong laser radiation with phase or amplitude fluctuations is demonstrated.
