Abstract

The proposals and possibilities of technological laser heads for additive technologies and surfacing are considered. The advantages of laser beam processing using a scanning system for gas-powder laser surfacing, its capabilities and modifications are shown. Experiments are carried out to study the effect of the scanning frequency of the laser beam and the scanning trajectory on the geometric characteristics of the deposited layers. The experiments are carried out using carbon dioxide and fiber laser. A multifunctional scanning unit which makes it possible to significantly increase the efficiency of the gas powder laser surfacing process and a powder dosing device designed specifically for additive laser technology are proposed. Their advantages and the possibility of using them as part of laser processing complexes are considered.
